Candace Watson

Candace Watson is an organization and management development consultant with over twenty years experience consulting with the public and private sectors. Her specialties include leadership and team development, change, coaching and strategic planning.

Candace’s expertise includes design and delivery of strategic planning processes that create mission, vision, values, strategic goals, and tactical objectives to build alignment and support for the organization direction. She has designed workshops and developed self-directed teams to work collaboratively to produce accelerated, more cost effective decisions.

Candace has consulted with HR management teams in creating a more strategic and less transactional HR function; redesigned processes, leading to cost reductions while maintaining or improving customer satisfaction. She has facilitated leadership development workshops and individual coaching sessions that link organizational results to self-management and change using information gathered from assessment tools which is combined with individual and group activities and conceptual learning so that a direct relationship is created between organizational direction and leadership competencies.

Candace is a founding member of the Organizational Development group in the Tampa Bay area and she is a past officer of the American Society for Training and Development, the Association of Quality and Participation and the Association for Psychological Type. She did her graduate work at Indiana University in communication and then taught at Indiana University and the University of Notre Dame. Candace continues to teach as an adjunct faculty member at the University of South Florida.
